I was talking to a friend a while back to got into his engineering college due to reservations; did he deserve it? No! He scored average marks in his exams. When I told him I was against reservations, he told me about discriminations against backward classes and how it helps them. My response was; well if you would have sat at home and studied and not come over at my place to drink just two hours before your exams you would not need it too.
The outcome; if they want reservations... because they are a backward class, I want them to even have the cons of being a backward class. So the next time I meet some one who is from a backward class, I am going to treat him in a way that I would not even treat a street dog. Why do you ask? Because thats the way they were treated back then, hence why they got these reservations. I think of it as my duty to treat them in such a way. Because if I stop treating them like animals and untouchables, they may lose these reservations that they hold soo dearly. Now we wouldn't want them to lose something they hold so dear.
But if I do meet some one who has given up his reservations, I would treat him with the same respect I would treat another person.
And I say it again. Help make the world a better place, and start treating OBC as untouchables; they like it.
